SOFTLAX is a dietary supplement based on Prune juice, Fig purée, Mannitol, Tamarind, Dandelion and Chamomile. Fig, Dandelion and Chamomile support the digestive function. Moreover, Tamarind promotes the natural intestinal transit and favours the normal volume and consistency of the feces. Prune: Prune is rich in sugars, pectin, malic acid, citric acid, vitamins ( A, B, C), flavonoids, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, sodium, manganese and carotenoids with high laxative action. Fig: Fig performs an emollient, lenitive and laxative effect, particularly suitable for children. Mannitol: as Mannitol is difficult to be absorbed, it absorbs water in the intestine, thus causing an increase in the faecal mass and the stimulation of the peristalsis. For its mild laxative properties and its sweet taste, Mannitol is highly indicated both for children and for pregnant women, as it does not cause disgust, colics and nausea. Tamarind: tamarind performs a laxative action thanks to the osmotic activity of its components; the increase of water content in the faecal mass favours evacuation. The pectins present in the fruit wrap the faecal mass and favour its transit in the intestinal tract. Dandelion: Dandelion is rich in amaroids with cholagogic and secretolytic ation in the upper intestinal tract. It supports the digestive and liver function, stimulates diuresis and favours the increase of the intestinal transit. Chamomile: Chamomile performs an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic action, particularly at the level of the gastric mucosa, due to the synergetic action of essential oil (lipophilic component) and flavonoids (hydrophilic component). Thanks to its aromatic properties, Chamomile facilitates the digestive processes.

CONTRAINDICATIONS Adverse effects have not been reported after use of the product; the administration of the product should be avoided in case of hypersensitivity to one or more components of the product.
